Siete-Shéva Associates, Inc. (SsAi) is a small business created with a mission to meet the needs of diverse, vulnerable individuals and groups; to strengthen families and communities; and to help build stronger, more effective, better funded, and more efficient non-profit and human service organizations.

Conceived as a synthesis of business efficiencies, non-profit management acumen, and a focus on the betterment of others, Siete-Shéva Associates, Inc. (SsAi) was established by a seven-member founding board with a common concern for community.  “Siete” is the Spanish word for seven – “Shéva” is the female form of the word in Hebrew. 

In some social contexts, seven means completeness, the perfection of events or things, and the bringing of outcomes to fruition as planned and intended; all of which reflect SsAi’s commitment to fulfill all obligations reliably, and with the acuity, efficiency, depth and breadth that is implied in “completeness” and “perfection.”

The repeat use of the word in two languages is symbolic of our commitment to embrace, honor, and celebrate our differences, to build bridges, and to cultivate allies to advance all just and community-responsive social missions.

The groups/communities and organizations we serve include but are not limited to, underserved children, vulnerable youth, LGBTQI youth and adults, children, youth and families, Black and Brown people/ Hispanic/Latinos and other immigrant families, refugees, economically challenged communities and small to mid-sized non-profit organizations working to serve these and other vulnerable populations (i.e. victimized women and/or abused children).
